Massimo likes hats...sometimes

Although it is almost the beginning of April, it is still quite cold in Manhattan. We thought by now hat season would be over...but apparently not. All winter (including this weekend) we tried to get Massimo to wear his hats while outside. He has a warm and stylish one from Kiddopotamus that was written about in early winter with this post, and he also has a blue Diesel hat that he is often seen wearing on cold days. But all too often his hats make for only a short stay on his head before he pulls them off and throws them to the ground.

So when Massimo found some of Mama's hats this weekend we thought for sure he wouldn't have any interest. But surprisingly he (as well as Mama and Papa) had lots of fun with them...

Hmmm...I'm not so sure about this one.

Did I miss the Easter Day parade?

Playdate with K-chan

Massimo had a fun playdate recently with his girlfriend K-chan. It's the cutest thing seeing them play side by side and sometimes catching Massimo gazing at her with his shy smile - eventhough she may be playing with his favorite toy.

New Baby Gap sweater

While in Odaiba Tokyo, Mama had to stop in Baby Gap to see the latest styles. Lucky for Massimo the store had a stylish and warm red sweater that he wears often and looks absolutely wonderful on him. It even has espresso color patches on the elbows which provide added protection for all that play time on the floor!

We havn't been able to find this sweater at any Baby Gap stores in New York, but if you are interested try your luck with the Gap links on the right.

Massimo with his new P'kolino desk

Now that Massimo is nearing 2 years old and enjoying his Curious George and Dora the Explorer books, we thought it was time to get him his own desk. A comfortable place to flip through his favorite books or do some puzzles by Melissa & Doug.

So here is Massimo in his very stylish, as well as compact and functional, P'kolino Desk. The seat has a rear cushion for comfort and the 2 pieces fit easily together to save space while not in use.

This chair and desk by P'kolino can be found at Amazon as well as other places on the internet.
